Here are the features you get when you become a member in the BarBlackBook network:

DECISION ENGINE Quickly determine where to go for the evening by seeing where your friends have checked in and show your friends where you are. Flying solo incognito for the night? No worries go invisible whenever you want. Looking for a new place to go or in a new city for the night? Search for bars and events around you that match your style.

TALLY TAB Use the TallyTab™ to tally how many drinks you’ve had over the night. Set a limit and if you go over, don’t worry we will refer you to a ride to get you home safely. Hold down the drink icon to reset your tally.

CAB TAB Use the CabTab™ to access a cab or an alternate transportation service at any time of the night in any part of the city. Just select which cab company you want and the app will call them.

PRIVATE FRIEND LIST Import your contacts and create your own exclusive network of friends. Select Add at the bottom of the page from the friends list. If the contact you select already has BarBlackBook they will be sent an invite. If not they will be sent a text message with a link to download the application. Don’t feel like sharing your whereabouts tonight? Go Invisible at any time.

EXCLUSIVE DATABASE As a BarBlackBook member, you get access to our exclusive database of bars and event information that isn’t available anywhere else. We don’t scour the web looking for information from random people that may or may not be accurate. Our information comes straight from the bar to your hands so you can trust it every time you leave the house. We only allow bars in our network that have agreed to update their information before we approve them. Scroll to different cities on the map and check out what your friends are up to or check out what the bars in that area have to offer. Simply press update when you find the location you want to explore.

AUTO CHECK IN Log in to BarBlackBook and let your friends know where you are without having to take your phone out of your pocket. With our Auto Check In feature you are automatically checked in and out of the bar when you enter and when you leave. The auto check in algorithm will check you in and out as accurately as possible. Turn off Auto Check In, and manually Check In whenever you want. Just select turn off Auto Check In from the settings wheel in the top right corner.

CONNECT TO SOCIAL MEDIA Easily post your Check In status to Facebook and Twitter. Just select the settings wheel in the top right corner.
